Is using a crypto exchange legal where you live?
Crypto rules are national, and several countries changed theirs in 2024–2025. Some require exchanges to be licensed locally; some block foreign exchanges; some restrict derivatives for retail traders.
How to check
- Look for your country's financial regulator and its list of licensed or registered crypto platforms.
- Check whether derivatives (futures, perpetuals) are allowed for retail clients where you live.
- Exchanges publish a list of restricted countries in their terms; they will close accounts opened from those countries.
Our position
We are an affiliate partner of the exchanges we list — not an exchange, broker or adviser. We do not accept customers from countries the exchanges exclude, and we never suggest a VPN or any workaround.

Not investment advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to trade, to use leverage, or to use any particular exchange. Trading crypto derivatives can lose you more than you deposit. We are paid a commission by exchanges on the fees you generate, so we earn more when you trade more — read everything here with that in mind.
