Securing your exchange account in five steps
- Use an authenticator app for 2FA, not SMS. SIM-swap attacks move phone numbers; they cannot move your authenticator.
- Turn on the anti-phishing code. Most large exchanges let you set a word that appears in every genuine email. No word, no trust.
- Whitelist withdrawal addresses. New addresses then need a waiting period and confirmation, which gives you time to react.
- Bookmark the real site. Reach the exchange from your bookmark, never from an ad, a search result or a link in a message.
- Never share your password, 2FA codes, seed phrase or an API key with withdrawal rights — not with "support", not with us. We only ever need your public UID.
If something looks wrong, freeze the account from the exchange's official app first, then ask questions.

Not investment advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to trade, to use leverage, or to use any particular exchange. Trading crypto derivatives can lose you more than you deposit. We are paid a commission by exchanges on the fees you generate, so we earn more when you trade more — read everything here with that in mind.
